Job Information:

• On-site position — $31.00 to $36.00/hour (negotiable)
• 80 hours per two-week period
• Permanent, full-time position
• Start date: As soon as possible
• 4 positions available

Education:

Certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience

Experience:

• 5 years or more
• Work performed entirely on-site — no remote work available.

Responsibilities / Tasks:

• Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and established procedures.
• Inspect maintenance work carried out by aircraft mechanics.
• Verify aircraft structural and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with Transport Canada standards and company requirements.
• Perform repairs and overhauls to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• Diagnose issues in aircraft mechanical and structural systems.
• Repair and overhaul structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• Install or modify engines and various systems (mechanical, hydraulic, flight controls, fuel circuits, pneumatic systems).
• Prepare detailed reports regarding repairs, inspections, and certifications.
• Disassemble, refurbish, clean, and reassemble airframes, engines, or other aircraft systems.
• Verify work performed by mechanics during aircraft or system modifications to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, standards, and technical instructions.

Credentials:

Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) Certificate from the CCEA
